recommendations

'What makes Matt's work interesting is that he comes from a local newspaper background before he started working in the built environment. This has given him a "snapper's" take on architecture and the built environment. His eye is not the same as your traditional architectural photographer's. He is very versatile as a result and he knows what makes a good publicity image, not just a good architecture shot. He also understands the need to get the "story" by the deadline – which in a photographer translates into being prepared to do what it takes to get the pic'. There's nothing precious about the way he operates. That makes him easy to work with, but you won't miss out on the arty stuff either.'
Lee Mallett, director, Urbik

I stumbled on Matt almost by mistake when one of our more regular photographers was on holiday. Matt is now a regular supplier and I sometimes wonder how we ever managed without him. The quality of Matt's work is extremely good. His eagerness to get a job completed is refreshing and what makes him stand out, always going the extra mile to obtain the unexpected. I 100% recommend Matt to anybody who is looking for a talented yet accommodating photographer. (Unless of course you are one of my competitors, in this case, Matt is awful!)

Ben Richardson, founding partner at Stepladder Communications Ltd

"We have been using Matt for our photography requirements for over six years. Matt is a great guy to work with, always helpful with tight deadlines, listens to the brief and goes the extra mile to get the imagery we need. His photography covers a wide range from existing buildings, site progress shots, new projects, location shots, individuals and events. Matt also understands, in some instances, the need for confidentiality and we have found him completely trustworthy."
